We recently completed the development of the ALBA BERLIN app, a project that involved converting their website into a mobile app. This case study will take you through the process of creating the app, the features we implemented, and the client's feedback.
ALBA BERLIN is one of Germany's most successful basketball teams. We created an app for their fans.
To get an even better understanding of the app, here's its app store description:
Spieltermine, Ticketinfos, Hintergründe zu Profisport, Jugendprojekten und unseren vielen Aktivitäten an Schulen und Kitas: Die App hält Dich immer auf dem Laufenden. Und mit der Push-Funktion bekommst Du die aktuellsten News und Angebote direkt auf den Screen.
The ALBA BERLIN team opted for our self-serve approach, which allows customers to configure and customize their app to their liking. This approach offers flexibility and control, enabling users to tailor the app's appearance and functionality based on their specific needs. However, customers are not alone in this process - they always have the option to seek assistance from our dedicated support team whenever needed.
In addition to the core features of the app, we also incorporate additional functionalities to enhance the user experience. These features include push notifications, which allow the ALBA BERLIN team to communicate with users in real-time and keep them informed about important updates and events. By integrating these features, we ensure that the app provides a seamless and engaging experience for users.
During the app publishing process, it's not uncommon to encounter an app rejection from either Google or Apple. Typically these are minor issues, like accidentally providing incorrect links or information in the app store listing. Sometimes there's also a need for small website changes to make sure the content of the app is in compliance with the app store rules.
Our team has a wealth of experience in app publishing, having successfully published hundreds of apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This expertise allows us to navigate the app review process efficiently and address any issues that may arise during the review. We work closely with our customers to ensure that their app meets all the necessary requirements for publication, resulting in a smooth and successful app launch.
The app is now live on the app stores, and the ALBA BERLIN team is excited to share it with users. Users can now download the app and enjoy the convenience of accessing ALBA BERLIN on their mobile devices.
Already, users have downloaded the app over 2000 times! On average they gave the app a rating of 4.4 stars in the app stores (based on over 14 reviews).
The ALBA BERLIN app project was a great success, showcasing our ability to convert websites into mobile apps seamlessly. We are thrilled to have delivered a user-friendly app that provides a convenient way for users to access ALBA BERLIN's services.
The customer's review of our service:
“Very good and detailed guides, easy handling. Additionally, comprehensive individual support.”
